Windsurf

Quotio provides quota monitoring support for Windsurf IDE. This allows you to track your AI usage within Windsurf environment without configuring it as a proxy provider.

Overview

Windsurf IDE is automatically detected when installed and logged in on your system. Quotio will monitor your AI usage and token consumption within Windsurf environment, displaying the information in the dashboard alongside your other AI providers.

Setup

Prerequisites

• Windsurf IDE must be installed and logged in
• Quotio must be running with appropriate permissions

Configuration

1. Install Windsurf IDE on your macOS system and log in with your account
2. Launch Quotio and navigate to the Providers tab
3. Enable detection - Quotio will automatically detect Windsurf when it's installed and authenticated
4. View usage - Monitor your Windsurf AI usage in the Quotio dashboard and quota sections

Limitations

Important: Windsurf IDE can only be used for quota usage monitoring. It cannot be used as a provider for the proxy server or for routing requests from other tools.

Troubleshooting

If Windsurf is not being detected:

1. Ensure Windsurf IDE is properly installed and you're logged in
2. Check that Quotio has the necessary system permissions
3. Restart both Windsurf IDE and Quotio
4. Verify that your Windsurf account has active AI features
